Many people are looking for ways to make money online, and with all of the scams out there, it’s easy to fall victim to programs that promise the world and do nothing but take your money.  There ARE honest ways to make money online.  It just takes research and a level head to find those true opportunities and to also be aware of what it really involved in making money online.

The first thing to remember when looking at money making opportunities is the old adage of “if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is”   This is still true today.  Making money online is more than possible, but it takes effort, determination, perseverance and belief.  There is no magic button where you make one click and the money pours in.

The gurus that are selling you their programs aren’t telling you what they REALLY had to go through to make money.  Because of this, unsuspecting people who are truly in need of money, and in some cases, desperate, fall into the trap of the promises these programs make. They spend more of their hard earned money, hoping that this time it will work out, and then if they go through the program at all, they find it’s the same old information that never worked before, and they add it to their bookshelf of programs that don’t work.

What any would be work at home person must know is that many of these programs CAN work, but the work involved is much more in-depth than the program leads you to believe.  After all, many people wouldn’t buy the program if the guru creating it was honest about the time and extra money spent to get it making money at all.

When you’re looking for honest ways to make money, check each program out thoroughly and with a common sense approach.  If they promise 6 figure your first month, move on to the next program, because this is usually just not possible.

Make sure that there is a way to ask someone questions about the program before you purchase.  Write down a list of questions you have, and make those questions more than just how much money you can make.  Ask questions like:

·    How much actual time needs to be spent each day on the business?

·    In the case of email marketing or safelist marketing, how many ads must be submitted in reality to see sales?

·    How much additional money needs to be invested to be successful in the chosen program?

·    How long, on average, will it take to begin making money

·    What is involved in scaling the business up to make more money?

·    How long has the company been in business?

Other things that need to be done to find honest ways to make money are to ask others who are successful in their chosen business how they did it.  If they are not willing to be open about what they really did, beware. Anyone who is with a good, reputable company knows about the importance of duplication.  When you find something that works, tell others how to do it so it continues to grow.

The more you learn, the better your business will do.

Next on the list of tips on network marketing is to remember that it’s not personal. If someone isn’t interested in your opportunity, it is not because you are a bad person. It could be for any number reasons. The easier you can move on to the next person the better off you will be.

With all the opportunities out there, this question can be a little daunting. There are many ways to find out what the top MLM companies are. You can do online searches, you can talk to others in the MLM field, and you can get on forums and listen and watch to what is being said about various companies.

When you talk to people, be aware that their objective in many cases is to recruit. Don’t fault them for that. But what you watch for are the ones who only tell the positive things about their company. Ask the tough questions, ask the questions no one is asking and see who, if anyone answers them.

There is no company in existence that has NO negatives. If they claim it, they’re not being truthful. The negatives may not always be big, or that major a deal, but there are things in every opportunity that could be different or better. What matters more is that the company is constantly growing and improving for its distributors as well. A company that thinks it has it all and doesn’t need change or growth is one to stay away from.

Those are names that are very well known and established and they have proven themselves to be hard hitters in the MLM realm with excellent products, loyal consumers and dedicated distributors.

There are a lot of opportunities for advancement in these companies and there is money to be made in each of them because their products touch on the needs of many consumers; cooking, beauty, and kids.

Things that you need to check out when looking for top MLM companies are the compensation plans, the fine print regarding commissions and returns if your customers return their products; how often you get paid, growth opportunities within the company, bonus programs if available, training for new distributors, ongoing training for more seasoned distributors and things of that nature.

The answers to these questions, when compared side by side, will help you narrow down your choices so you can eventually decide on one to start with. You can choose more than one to do later, but when you are starting out, choose ONE, and dedicate yourself wholly to that one. Learn everything you can about it, and then put what you learn into practice.
